Review of Rimmel polish

Dear lovelies,
I have gotten LOADS of new products recently so expect lots of reviews! I have especially gotten lots of Rimmel polishes. This week I've been wearing their lycra pro polishes with a mistake free brush. The brush is really nice and covers most of the nail but its not too big that you get loads of nail polish on the skin around your nail. The colour I wore this week is a real fall/autumn shade. The shade was 393 desire. It's a dark red browney colour with small glitters. When I checked the photo on the Rimmel website it shows up purpley. I'll leave a link at the end. It says it lasts up to 10 days something it defiantly didn't live up to. It chipped on the first or second day and now i have it on 5 days and is extremely chipped. It actually says on the back that its chip resistant.

So heres the summary:

Best thing about the product: The colour is realy nice as I said its a great fall/autumn colour

Worst thing about the product: Chips really quickly

How to fix the worst thing about the product: Apply a base coat and after applying the polish apply a top coat

Price: I'm not sure but approximately 4-6 euro

How I applied it: I just put on one coat I forgot about a top or base coat but i would recommend it.

Rating/10- only about a 5 or 6

Review of Rimmels BB cream

Helloooo lovelies!

It's been awhile since I made a blog post so back in to the swing of things! So to get back into the swing I thought a review would be the best thing. As it's the summer you want something light on your face with a bit of colour and some SPF sound good? I'm talking about Rimmel's BB cream. What is BB cream you might ask? So I searched google for a definition and this is what I got : BB cream stands for blemish balm, blemish base, beauty balm or beblesh balm (apparently because of a trademark in Korea on the word "blemish"). Lots of the biggest companies are coming out with BB creams from smashbox to maybelline and estee lauder. BB creams are a lighter alternative to foundation. Rimmel's BB cream claims it's 9 in 1. It says it primes, moisturises, minimises pores, conceals, covers, smoothes, mattifies, brightens and protects.

I have really light skin so I went with light. At first I was not impressed it was too dark but after I left it awhile and just used normal sun screen. I got a bit more tanned so it suited my skin tone. This is the first BB cream and I was pretty impressed. 

Did it do what it said on the tin?!?!?

1. Prime- It stays on for the whole day.
2. Moisturize- My skin feels really soft after it's removed.
3. Minimise Pores- You can't really see my pores so I don't know about this one.
4. Conceal- It conceals but you still have to apply under your eyes.
5. Cover- It covers any red patches.
6. Smoothe- It smoothes my skin out and gives it an even tone.
7. Mattifies- it appears a bit oily on the nose.
8. Brightens-I don't feel like it brightens at all.
9. Protects- it has SPF 25 and I haven't got burnt yet so I think it works.

Best thing about the product: it's light and great for summer with the SPF 25.

Worst thing about the product: it takes a bit of effort to blend it.

Price- they were doing a promotion so I got it for €5.95 instead of €8.95.

Rating /10- 8/10 does mostly what is said at a good price is nice and light and lasts a while.

Newest Products!!!!

Bonjour mes ami,

Recently I've gotten a few new products (including my first few pieces of mac!!!!!). So I thought I'd briefly give reviews on them and if you want more detail on any of the products just comment below and please remember to follow and make my day (and be my first follower).

This is pinkarat it is a mac lustreglass it is absolutely gorgeous!!! It is so pink and is full with loads of gorgeous glitters(I love anything pink and glittery!) It shines like a disco ball! The applicator is ok but I would prefer if it was a sponge tip.

As you can see this is a gorgeous colour it's bombshell from mac it's a lustre and this was the first piece of mac I ever got!!! It is beautiful as you can see. 

The next product is Hervana from benefit. This is really good on my skin as my skin is so pale. This has gorgeous colour a really pale pink.

How to deal with the holidays!

                          

I thought I'd make a post on Christmas/Hanukkah/birthday present shopping. Presents can cost a lot and take time to find. So firstly you should mark your friends and family birthday in your diary to avoid last minute stress. Mark next to their name any ideas you have to make it easier. For big holidays save a bit every month and get started early you don't want to spend the whole of your pay check a month before. Have frequent breaks when shopping just to get rid of stress and its your holidays too. When writing a lot of cards last minute get up on the sofa with a pen, a ton of cards, a nice cup of hot chocolate, your address book, tissues and the film the notebook. Not sure what to get friends or family, check their twitter and see what they're tweeting about or check their likes on facebook the pages they like might have discount codes or promotions. And remember its the thought that counts try making them a homemade gift cheaper and a whole lot more thoughtful and from the heart. Don't get to caught up on presents a simple text lets them know your thinking of them!

Review on Sugarbomb!

Hey all,

I am not sure if I am going to continue with this blog as I haven't gotten any followers and I know that is a bad reason but no ones viewing it so but anyway back to the review.

This is a gorgeous blush that looks quite natural but can be built up to look dramatic. Sorry I tried to take a swatch but it didn't work so this is off google images. The packaging is soo cute and the blush itself smells great. The brush isn't amazing but will do while you're starting off. These are great for new budding make up artists. They're a little on the expensive side but has so much in it that it's worth it. It's a lighter colour that you can use as a highlighter but as I use a different highlighter so I use it as a blush!

This Blazer is absolutely gorgeous and would go great with different coloured skinny jeans it is a bit more expensive but because the fabric it will last you for so long so it is work it. This has to be one of my favourite blazers! This will go with most things as it's black.When I recently visited penneys/primark they had a blazer which is so similar to this one! The only difference is the price! And I don't think it was as fitted!

Our last blazer is a fun one. It's this striped fitted blazer from boohoo.com this is so cute and goes great with bright prints and darker colours as well so you get the best of both words. The vertical lines give you a slimmer look and make up look taller. Another plus is it is cheap as chips at 25 pounds. My Accessory Of The Day!

Dear beautiful/s,
This is my accessory of the day! I am lucky enough to own it! I got it from river island for 5 euro. I wore it today and it went greatly with a pair of skinny jeans and hoodie and just livened up my outfit a bit as i was tired from travelling but had a event with my friends! I think everyone should a piece like or similar to this!
